What is EDN AI?

EDN AI is your smart nutrition assistant. It helps you plan meals, discover recipes, create shopping lists, and get AI-powered nutrition guidance.

How do I create an account?

EDN uses Sign in with Apple for secure login and account creation. Simply tap “Continue with Apple” when you first open the app.

Where is my profile data stored?

Your dietary preferences, allergens, and meal plans are stored only on your device. EDN does not collect or sell your data.

How do payments work?

Subscriptions and payments are handled securely by the Apple App Store. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

How does the AI work?

When you ask a question or scan a barcode, your input is securely sent to OpenAI (ChatGPT) to generate a personalized response.

Does EDN AI work offline?

Some features (like viewing your saved profile or shopping lists) work offline. AI-powered features and recipe lookups require an internet connection.

How do I delete my account?

At the bottom of the Profile page, you’ll find a Delete Account button.

  • Tapping this will immediately remove your EDN profile and all stored data from your device.

  • Since EDN does not store user profiles on external servers, deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Is my data safe?

Yes. All profile data stays on your device, and Apple and OpenAI use industry-standard encryption and safeguards for authentication, payments, and AI responses.
