• EDN uses Sign in with Apple as the login and account creation method.

• When you sign in, Apple may share limited information with EDN such as your name and email address.

• If you choose Hide My Email, Apple provides EDN with a private relay address instead of your real email.

• EDN does not receive or store your Apple ID password or iCloud account details. Authentication is handled entirely by Apple.

3. Information Stored in the App

• After login, you may create a profile inside EDN with information such as dietary preferences, allergens, and meal plans.

• This profile information is stored locally on your device.

• We, the creators of EDN, do not collect, store, or sell your profile information.

4. How Information Is Used

• Your profile and preferences are used only within the app to deliver features such as meal planning, recipe discovery, shopping lists, and nutrition guidance.

• When you use AI features (for example, ask a nutrition question or analyze a product), your input is securely sent to OpenAI’s ChatGPT API to generate a response.

5. Third-Party Services

• Apple Sign-In: Provides secure account login and authentication.

• Apple App Store: Handles subscriptions and payments. EDN does not process or store your payment information.

• OpenAI (ChatGPT): Processes the text you provide to generate AI-powered responses.

No other third-party services are used.

6. Data Sharing

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

• We do not share profile data with third parties.

• Any information sent to OpenAI is used only to provide responses you request.

7. Security

• Profile data remains on your device.

• Authentication and payments are handled securely by Apple.

• OpenAI and Apple use industry-standard encryption and safeguards.

• EDN is not intended for children under 13.

• We do not knowingly collect data from children.
